It is wonderful when served over chicken, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seafood-harvest.com\/?s=shrimp\">shrimp<\/a>, or rice dishes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Creole Sauce Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup chopped green bell pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped onion<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons butter<\/li>\n<li>3 cups chopped tomato pulp<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon dried thyme<\/li>\n<li>2 bay leaves<\/li>\n<li>4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon paprika<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd teaspoons cayenne powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"wpurp-recipe-description\">Saut\u00e9 the bell pepper and onion in the butter until soft. Add all the other ingredients, except the cornstarch, and simmer for 20 minutes. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"wpurp-recipe-description\">Mix the cornstarch with a little water and blend into the sauce.
