Admission is free.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wcag-arialevel-3\" role=\"heading\">The Freshest Dungeness Crab<\/h4>\n<p>Fresh Dungeness crab pulled from the Strait of <span class=\"xn-person\">Juan de Fuca<\/span> will be delivered to festival-goers under the 15,000 square foot<b> First Fed Crab Central<\/b> <b>Tent.<\/b> Whole crabs averaging two pounds will be served alongside along locally-grown corn and cole slaw.<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s not all! Festival organizers are hurdling the volatile seafood market and guaranteeing the 2021 Dungeness crab dinner price of <span class=\"xn-money\">$40.00<\/span> to advance ticketholders.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re encouraging festival-goers to purchase their crab dinner tickets online at <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3619607-1&amp;h=4014885949&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.crabfestival.org%2F&amp;a=crabfestival.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">crabfestival.org<\/a> for the guaranteed price of <span class=\"xn-money\">$40.00<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-money\">$21.00<\/span> for a half crab dinner,&#8221; says CrabFest Executive Director <span class=\"xn-person\">Scott Nagel<\/span>. &#8220;We <i>will<\/i> offer crab dinners for on-site purchase at market price, but the high cost of seafood has necessitated changes in our planning, and we may run out of crab before the Festival is over. Advance tickets guarantee your crab!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Can&#8217;t make the Festival? Order online by <span class=\"xn-chron\">Thursday, Oct. 6<\/span> at <span class=\"xn-chron\">6 p.m.<\/span> and pick-up your chilled Dungeness crab dinner for warming at home <span class=\"xn-money\">($40.00)<\/span> or a cleaned, cooked, chilled and wrapped Dungeness crab <span class=\"xn-money\">($35.00)<\/span> curbside. Pick-up is available Friday and Saturday only from Noon \u2013 <span class=\"xn-chron\">6 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wcag-arialevel-3\" role=\"heading\">Food &amp; Beverages<\/h4>\n<p>Throughout the grounds, 15 local and regional restaurants will serve-up everything from fresh Dungeness crab shooters to Caribbean Seafood Stew \u2013 more than 60 dishes! Meat and vegetarian dishes will also be available.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wcag-arialevel-3\" role=\"heading\">Live Music &amp; More<\/h4>\n<p>In addition to great food, there will be three live music stages this year. Saturday activities include a Welcoming Ceremony sponsored by the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, a United States Coast Guard Air and Sea Rescue Demonstration and a <span class=\"xn-org\">Peninsula College<\/span> <span class=\"xn-money\">5K<\/span> Fun Run. Our family-friendly Grab-A-Crab Derby and the Sunday morning Crab Gospel Revival are back, and more than 70 juried craftspeople, nonprofit and sponsor booths will exhibit throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wcag-arialevel-3\" role=\"heading\">A Perfect Getaway<\/h4>\n<p>CrabFest is a seasonal highlight for <span class=\"xn-location\">Port Angeles<\/span>, located at the Gateway to <span class=\"xn-location\">Olympic National Park<\/span>, a UNESCO World Heritage Center. The region is long known as an outdoor enthusiast&#8217;s paradise with a growing reputation for culinary adventure.
